This course will walk you through building a course in Canvas and successfully managing the course once students join. We at CITE have designed this course as 5 separate modules. Although you may access them in any order you wish, they build sequentially from migrating content into Canvas, to building assignments and pages, to best practices for having the strongest possible course. Here's a brief outline of Canvas 101:

Module 1 — Getting Started: Introduces the fundamentals of Canvas navigation.
Module 2 — Communication: Covers different ways to contact students, such as notifications, announcements, etc.
Module 3 — Assignments, Quizzes, Grades, and Feedback: Walks through building common elements of a course and how to grade student work.
Module 4 — Building Content: Shows you how to utilize Pages, Modules, and other tools to create a cohesive learning experience.
Module 5 — Best Practices: Introduction to strategies for creating positive student experiences and improving your workflow in Canvas.
